University President John Garvey announces the appointment of Nancy Morrison O’Connor as the acting chief human resource officer, effective immediately. O’Connor will retain her duties as the General Counsel.
Jeff Branstetter, formerly chief human resources officer at Creighton University, had served as full-time interim chief human resources officer since August. The University has retained the executive search firm, Koya Leadership Partners, to continue a national search for permanent Human Resources leadership.
O’Connor will work with colleagues across the University to identify, plan for, advocate for, and act upon opportunities to implement and improve the University’s Human Resource policies, systems, processes and outcomes.
